WELCOME TO SEAMEADOWS

Our Childrens Service was established in 1989 it is a specialist resource for five young people.

The home has an onsite Educational and Therapy Facility in its extensive grounds. We believe that maintaining our 'smallness' as an organization has been an important factor in establishing our reputation as a provider of quality care.

Our Learning Disability Service was established in 1999 it is a specialist resource for up to nine adults aged between 18-65 who have mild to moderate learning disabilities. The home is committed to working with people, their families and professionals within a framework of anti-discriminatory practice and in such a way as to promote each person's individual value.

All our homes have been particularly successful in developing skills to lead towards semi - independent living. Our homes meet with cultural, ethnic and religious needs and by working with our clients, their families and professionals we promote each person's individual value.

NEW HOME ACQUIRED

Redbourne House is a residential home for young adults with learning disabilities located in Penge. The Victorian house boasts 9 large individual bedrooms, spacious communal areas. The home provides long-term care and support with maximum independence.

Sea Meadows is a specialist residential home and the quality of the care can be described as excellent. Communication between Sea Meadows and me can be described as good and I hereby wish to congratulate staff for informing me immediately about a critical incident (IN WRITING). Well done and keep it up. Sea Meadows provide a high level of care and is assisting R towards developing independence at the young person's pace taking into consideration the young person's personal needs. I have found the staff to be suitably qualified and engaging with young people. A holistic program of care is provided. I am confident that R receives the agreed upon hours of care and more and will certainly refer another young person in future or recommend this placement."
