Sporting activities we do as a school are both rewarding and enjoyable for the young people. Theory is taught and accredited through ASDAN sports award all the years participate in practical activities together.
Football is played in 1st and 2nd term. All young people work towards a Football Association award (FA) skills. This is played at our local sports ground.
Rugby is played in term 3 & 4
Term 5 hopefully weather permitting we play a series of Racket and bat sports the focus mainly being on Hockey, Badminton, Tennis, Cricket and Rounder's is also played.
Term 6 we have links to Joss Bay and head to the beach to participate in water sports activities run by qualified water safety instructor/Lifeguard. Here pupils participate in Indo boarding sessions, Kayaking and surfing.
If any young person does not want to participate in the sport that we do here. The school has membership with the local leisure centre where sports hall and gym can be used for other amenities.
