REFERRAL PROCEDURE
We require all relevant reports prior to arranging visits and ask that a questionnaire be complete in order that we can assess where on our fee structure the referral should be placed. A manager will be pleased to informally discuss a referral and if this looks to be positively moving forward we would wish to visit the young person or young adult in their present placement.
An overnight stay at the home by the young person or young adult can be a helpful part of the process but we recognise that some potential residents would struggle with this.
We do take emergencies but have the right to refuse should they not meet our admission criteria, as the well being of all the residents in our unit is paramount.
We require our placement contract to be signed prior to admission. Our fees are payable one month in advance.
